To relieve pain following minor burns and skin irritation including sunburn, insect bites, nettle rash and sore nipples.
Apply a thin layer for adequate control of symptoms. A sterile gauze pad covering is recommended. For nipple soreness, the ointment should be wiped off before breastfeeding.
Directions:
Adults: The maximum single recommended dose is 5g (approximately 15cm of ointment).
Not more than 17 to 20g should be administered in a 24 hour period.
Children (under 12 years old): The maximum single dose should not exceed 0.1g per kg of body weight.
Not more than 3 doses should be administered in a 24 hour period.
